TeliApp CEO Serves as Judge at the NJTC’s Technology Boot Camp & Venture Conference Pitch Session

Josh served as a Judge and one of the Panelists at the New Jersey Tech Council‘s Boot camp series, which ran from March 22nd through March 27th. During the fireside chat, Josh addressed his experience starting TeliApp, and shared some thoughts as to what he might have done differently if given the chance.

Josh went into detail about funding options that new entrepreneurs should take advantage of, and discussed from the startup-perspective the various investment vehicles that entrepreneurs should consider. Josh explained how critical it is to have a solid MVP launch and some initial traction before seeking investment capital, but how equally important it is to begin developing relationships with potential investors immediately after the company’s inception.

Other speakers in the series included Stephen Socolof, Managing Partner at Tech Council Ventures, Thomas Clare from BakerHostetler, Joe Ferino, Partner at McCarter & English, Darren Hammell the CEO of Princeton Power, Morgan Polotan, Principal at Genacast Ventures, Jared Sorin from McCarter & English, Tom Sullivan, CEO at Princeton Partners, and Alan Wink, the Director of Capital Markets at Eisner/Amper.

“It was a pleasure helping the entrepreneurs at the event today. I hope they take advantage of the relationships and the opportunities that the New Jersey Tech Council has to offer, and that they appreciate how valuable their organization is to the technology community of New Jersey, especially to startups.”
